Former OU Football Star Defaults on Malibu Home
A Notice of Default has been filed on a Malibu, Calif., mansion owned by former Oklahoma University football star Brian Bosworth, who also spent two years in the NFL playing for the Seattle Seahawks before moving on to a intermittent movie career.
According to RealtyTrac, the NOD was recorded Nov. 23 with a loan amount of more than $4 million and a default amount of $82,726.The loan in foreclosure appears to be an adjustable rate 40-year loan from Washington Mutual, now owned by JP Morgan Chase, taken out in 2007.
The 7-bedroom, 10-bathroom property sits on approximately 1.7 acres with a view of the Pacific Ocean and is being listed for sale at $6.9 million, according to Trulia, which includes the following description of the property:
