‘Real Housewives’ Star Loses Home to Foreclosure
There’s more real drama coming from behind the Bravo cable network’s realty show camera these days than in front of it.
Consider the latest news from Atlanta.
‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Lisa Wu-Hartwell, and her former NFL player-husband, Edgerton Hartwell, have lost their five-bedroom Duluth mansion to foreclosure, according to TMZ.
Last week, Bank of America foreclosed on the couple’s $2.9 million loan after they defaulted on their mortgage. On August 4, Bank of America bought back the property at auction for $1.9 million, according to the auction notice posted on RealtyTrac (See auction notice below). Ed Hartwell, a former Oakland Raider linebacker, bought the two-year-old home in 2007.
The couple has moved on to another property they own in Gwinnett County, which sits on 10 acres of land.
Wu-Hartwell, a licensed real estate broker in Georgia, is not the only Bravo realty star who can’t pay her bills. Earlier this year, Sheree Whitfield lost her Sandy Springs homes to foreclosure, while NeNe and Gregory Leakes were evicted from their five-bedroom Duluth mansion, according to Access Atlanta.
